The synopsis of the Stop The Hate program by Victims2Victory.Inc is a unique approach to address the growing issues of bullying, addiction, sexual activity, abuse and mental health among young people. The program utilizes trained actors to lead interactive activities and role play exercises that help students recognize, reflect on, and regulate their emotions and behavior. The program focuses on teaching six core skills of positive social and emotional behavior: focus, engagement, reflection, self-management, self-discipline, and self-awareness. This method is backed by research that demonstrates the strong impact of social-emotional education on positive growth and academic achievement.
Objectives:
Raise awareness about bullying, addiction, sexual activity, mental health, abuse, gun violence, and depression among students.
Improve self-esteem and self-confidence among students.
Encourage students to create a 60-minute performance using information from mentors and personal reflections.
Increase students' understanding of the consequences and impact of their actions.
Provide parents with insight into the challenges faced by young people.
Encourage young people to use their talents to support and motivate one another.
Foster positive social-emotional development among students.
Support students in building self-awareness, self-discipline, self-management, focus, engagement, and reflection skills.
